India Gary-Martin has more than 30 years of experience in financial services across front office, operations, technology, and corporate board roles. India has held executive positions—including global COO and CTO functions—in London, Frankfurt, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. In her final corporate role, she served as JPMorgan’s Managing Director & Global COO for Investment Banking Technology and Operations, with 15,000 staff across more than 40 global locations.
Post her executive career, India founded a multidisciplinary leadership practice, Leadership for Execs. India is a member of the Forbes Coaches Council and an expert facilitator. She advises c-suite leaders on leadership, change, transition, and succession, and operates in both a coach and advisory capacity for CEOs, leadership teams, and individual leaders around the world. She is a trusted confidante and expert solutions provider.
India currently sits on the board of C. Hoare & Co., the UK’s oldest private bank, and chairs its Risk Committee. She is also the Chair of the Women Business Collaborative and sits on Weber Shandwick’s advisory board. She previously served as Chair of Travalyst, a sustainability-focused travel platform founded by Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, and during her board tenure at Euromoney PLC, was part of the team that orchestrated its sale to private equity. Her executive and board experience spans continents and sectors.
India is a coaching faculty member at Georgetown University and a preferred coach for several Fortune 100 companies. She is near fluent in French and functional in Japanese.
