Topic: How to Embrace Possibilities, Power and the Menopause

Elaine Jackson is a powerhouse in both the boardroom and the lifting platform. As a Gold and Silver medal-winning elite powerlifter representing Great Britain and England, Elaine defies expectations, demonstrating that strength is not just about lifting weights but also about breaking barriers. Her journey is marked by resilience, reinvention, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence.

By day, Elaine serves as the Director of Office Management and Security at Hearst Networks EMEA, where she leads with vision and impact. She oversees operations across the company, ensuring efficiency, security, and employee well-being. However, Elaine's influence extends beyond corporate walls. As a mental health advocate and champion of social responsibility, she spearheads initiatives like Hearst’s partnership with The Upper Room, a charity that supports individuals experiencing homelessness.

As a Board Member of Hammersmith BID, Elaine plays a crucial role in shaping her local community, ensuring that businesses and individuals receive the support they need to thrive. She is a leader who creates environments—both physical and cultural—where people feel empowered to succeed.

Elaine’s career is anything but conventional. With a background in fashion, music, television, and theatre, she has continuously reinvented herself. From working on iconic productions at The London Palladium and The Royal Opera House to recording a single under Columbia Records and touring with artists such as Zucchero and Pavarotti, Elaine's life has been fuelled by passion and possibility.

As a cancer survivor, she understands the power of resilience. She has faced challenges head-on, proving time and again that age, adversity, and expectations are no barriers to success. Elaine's mantra is simple yet powerful:

“Strength knows no limits. Age sets no boundaries. The vision is yours—go after it.”

Whether she is lifting Gold medal weights, leading in the corporate world, or advocating for mental health, Elaine is an unstoppable force—an inspiration for anyone ready to defy limits and redefine what’s possible.
